The Unknown Quilt is inspired by a folk art block from the American Folk Museum by an Unknown maker, and an antique quilt that Lou has a photo of and has no idea where from! Hence it’s the “Unknown Quilt”. It is a beautiful large quilt with applique, foundation piecing and English paper piecing. Fantastic opportunities to fussy cut with the hexagons and circles.
The centre blocks flower includes foundation piecing or hand piecing, and applique to complete the centre. A sheet of Matilda’s Own Polyfuse is included in the pattern as an option for the applique points.
